Allendale, Victoria, Fire Brigade - World War I Honour Roll

William John JACKSON (c. 1895-1917) served with B Company, 40th. Battalion, Australian Infantry, AIF. He died as a result of wounds sustained in battle and is buried at Bailleul, Nord - Hauts-de-France, France. His older brother Thomas Roy JACKSON (1893-1918) also died while serving on the Western Front in France. Lest We Forget.
