    Notes:

It appears that Norah HICKS (1853-1929) was known as Norah BRIMACOMBE all her life even though she was in fact the daughter of Richard HICKS (c. 1822-1854) who was the first husband of Sophia WALTER (1822-1906). In fact, it appears that her father probably died before she was born and she grew up in and with the family of her mother and step-father John BRIMACOMBE (1830-1896).
