According to the Victorian BDM death records the parents of Annie Ada Jane Emily Carol Maria Georgina MIDDLETON were Robert Adamson MIDDLETON and Mary Ann Louisa SMITH. However, the birth records show her to be the daughter of Susanna MIDDLETON (b. 1860) a daughter of the above Robert and Mary. It therefore appears that she was probably raised by her grandparents.
